How NatureFitFlorence ASD handles the personal data of people who apply to join, of members and of visitors to this website.
Who handles your data
The data controller is NatureFitFlorence ASD, tax code 94315900483, with its operating premises at Via dei Pilastri 7A, 50121 Florence, Italy. For any question about your data, write to info@naturefitflorence.com or call +39 338 394 0837.
What data we handle
- Personal details: first name, surname, place and date of birth, Italian tax code.
- Address and contact details: address, town, postcode, province, email, phone, VAT number if you give one.
- For children: also the first name, surname and tax code of the parent or guardian making the request.
- Medical certificate for non-competitive sport, which you hand in after joining: it contains health data (your fitness for sport) and we handle it only because the law requires it.
- Photos and video taken during activities, only with your consent.

How we handle it
The website form stores nothing: when you send it, your data arrives by email in the association's mailbox and is managed from there. Only people authorised by the association handle it, with appropriate tools and care.
Who it may be shared with
- MSP Italia, the body the association is affiliated to, and the insurance company linked to membership.
- The Italian government's Department for Sport, for the national register of amateur sports activities.
- The association's tax and accounting advisers, for legal obligations.
- The technical providers we rely on, as data processors: the website host (with servers in Switzerland, a country the European Commission recognises as adequate) and the email service.
- WhatsApp (Meta), only if you agree to join the association's group.
- Infomaniak Newsletter, the service we use to manage and send the newsletter: it receives your email address only if you decide to sign up.
Your data is never sold or used for advertising.
How long we keep it
For as long as you are a member and, afterwards, for as long as the law requires (normally 10 years for tax and accounting records). Applications that do not go ahead are deleted within 12 months. Photos and video stay published until you withdraw your consent.
If the person joining is under 18
For anyone under 18, the data is provided, and consent given, by the parent or guardian.
Which data is required
Without the data marked as required in the form, the association cannot assess your application or register you. Consent for photos and video and for news is optional: you can join without it.
Your rights
You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, receive it in a readable format or object to its use (articles 15-22 GDPR). You can withdraw optional consent whenever you like, with no effect on what was done before. Just write to info@naturefitflorence.com.
If you believe your data is being handled incorrectly, you can complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali.
Cookies and visiting the website
The website uses no cookies at all: no profiling, no analytics, no technical cookies. There are no tracking tools, no advertising and no content embedded from other sites (maps, videos, social buttons). The typefaces are hosted on the website itself, so opening a page does not make your browser connect to any third-party server, with one exception: the newsletter form, described below. That is why there is no cookie banner: under the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines (10 June 2021) one is needed only when cookies other than technical ones are used.
Like any website, the server logs technical data about visits for security reasons (IP address, page requested, date and time). The hosting provider keeps them only as long as strictly necessary, and they are not used to identify you.
Links to WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook and Google Maps take you off the website: from then on, those services' own policies apply.
The newsletter form runs on Infomaniak Newsletter: to make it work, the website's pages load some programs from Infomaniak's servers, which therefore receive technical connection data such as your IP address. Your email address reaches Infomaniak only when you press «Sign me up»; Infomaniak then sends you an email to confirm your subscription.
