Frequently asked questions
Answers to the questions we are asked most: trial class, membership, medical certificate, cancellations, payments and outings. If yours is missing, message us on WhatsApp.
Getting started
Can I come if I have never done yoga or pilates?
Yes. With groups of six at most, every exercise is adapted to the person doing it, so beginners and experienced people share the same class without any trouble.
How does the trial class work?
Your first class is free. Fill in the membership form and we will call you back to agree a day and time. If you just want to ask something first, message us on WhatsApp.
What should I bring to my first class?
Comfortable clothes, a towel and your own water bottle. Mats and small equipment are provided by the association.
Do you teach in English?
Yes, group classes and one-to-one sessions are available in English.
Membership and paperwork
Do I need to become a member?
Yes. Activities are for members of the association, and membership includes registration with MSP Italia and insurance cover. The membership application is the form, which you fill in once, before your trial. Fees are in the prices section.
Do I need a medical certificate?
Yes, a medical certificate for non-competitive sport, valid for one year. Your GP can issue it. We have an arrangement with a clinic three minutes from our premises: see medical certificate and payments.
Can I sign up my child?
The membership form lets you sign up a child too, with the parent's or guardian's details. To work out together which activity suits their age, message us on WhatsApp before filling it in.
Classes and passes
How many people are in a class?
Six at most. That is why Alessandra can correct every posture and adapt every exercise.
How do I cancel if I can't come?
Let us know at least 4 hours before the class starts, private or group. Later cancellations mean the class is deducted.
Can I make up a missed class?
On fixed-day group passes, classes missed for personal reasons cannot be made up. Classes falling on a national public holiday can be made up before the pass expires, if there are places free on another day or at another time.
Can I pause my pass?
No, passes and packages cannot be paused or frozen, except for serious, certified health reasons.
How do I pay?
With Satispay, PayPal or by card on site. QR codes and buttons are on the medical certificate and payments page.
Our premises and outings
Where are you based and how do I get there?
At Via dei Pilastri 7A, between Sant'Ambrogio and Piazza d'Azeglio. It is a walk from the centre, and reachable with shared bikes and scooters (Ridemovi, Bird, Bit Mobility).
Who leads the hikes?
Alessandra, a licensed environmental hiking guide in Tuscany. Outings are for members and normally cost €20, unless stated otherwise for a specific outing. Upcoming dates are on the Hiking page.
Do you teach at hotels and agriturismi?
Yes, we come to the venue with the mats, for your guests. Pricing is by quote: see classes for hotels and venues.
